Saturday July 4 Discount Night & Pole Dance Contest. This is usually a big party.
The lower fee on a Saturday night is a great deal, plus because of the holiday, we are having
a cook out! The grill will be working over-time, with hot dogs, hamburgers and brats, for
everyone. Now that is a great way to spend your July 4th evening. Come in and celebrate
with us, I'm sure we can make our own fireworks. You can also enter the pole dance contest,
and have some fun and possibly win a prize.
Friday July 10 Karaoke We have had many requests to have karaoke again, so come in
and join us for some fun and a lot of talented people. We have some members that are very
good at singing, you will be amazed. If you can't sing, come cheer for your favor karaoke
singer.
Saturday July 11 Naughty Musical Chairs. This is a new contest that we have done
a couple of times. It is a lot of fun, and everyone seems to enjoy it. It's played like regular musical chairs, but sitting in the chairs is a guy, and the girls walk around the chairs until
the music stops. This can get pretty interesting, come check it out.
Saturday July 18 Wet Tee Shirt Contest. This is always a favorite contest for the
ladies and the guys. Ladies bring a t-shirt, or the club has some to wear. The guys will get the squirt bottles and will spray the ladies down. The top 3 ladies with the most votes, will
win a prize. This is always a hard decision, because all of the Reel One ladies are winners!
Saturday July 25 Brickyard Race Party>>>Frank's Birthday Party>>>Scavenger Hunt!!!!
WOW, this is going to be a really busy night. Come in and help celebrate Frank's birthday,
maybe we can get him out on the dance floor for the traditional Birthday chair dance. We
will have some great food, it is our buffet night also, so there will be plenty of food for
everyone. Come dressed in something black and white checked like the racing flags, ladies
how about some beads for showing your t**s!
This will be our first scavenger hunt, but I think we will have a lot of fun with it. Come
check it out, see if you can find everything on the list, you will probably be surprised of
the things on that list.

I receive many requests for stories to be put on this site many times I will add content as an advertisement and the clubs of person will pay a fee, however I was sent this message by a friend who I have known almost all my adult life, he is a person who has been in the lifestyle for a very long time, he has worked for various club owners, managed a few clubs and also owned a club in Southern Indiana, upon reading this I agree to post the message on this site provided I was given a permission email from the lady who wrote the post. I am not saying I agree with what is said but I have also had two other couples verify that this is what happened on the night in question, remember this is not my statement I am only post a message that has been sent to me.
""I wanted EVERYBODY to know how I was personally treated at Utopia. I will
probably add more comments when I have time but I've waited about a week just to
calm down.
First of all, the owner was, in my opinion, rude and arrogant. Several things
happened to give me that impression. First of all, when I got there & was in his
office, he stated that I couldn't change my clothes until AFTER I got the Tour
of the club. (I had just traveled from INDY to get to his club and was wearing
t-shirt, flip-flops, jeans) He said, "Those are the rules". Whatever. Then,
didn't say goodbye when me and my friends left...he was standing RIGHT at the
door, turned his back to us, and walked away. He knew we were upset because of
what happened under my Reason #3 below, but you should still say good-bye if you
are the owner. And, he did not speak to us while he was walking around the club.
SECOND, get this, THEY CHARGE YOU TO SPEND THE NIGHT !!!! The person that ran
the cash register and the door greeter stated that it was on their website.
However, if you received an invitation from them & printed it off & didn't go
through their website, you had no way of knowing this. AND when we checked the
website when we got home, it wasn't POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY CHARGE YOU
TO SPEND THE NIGHT !!! $20 for a room with one bed. $40 for a room with 2 beds.
THIRD, even though we went ahead and paid for $40 for a room with 2 beds, they
did not tell us when we paid for it that THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! We asked for a refund from the door greeter and the
register lady and they both stated that they would lose money if they returned
our money. Rick, the owner, was standing right there, however, did not make eye
contact with me. I said, "Rick, why don't you make a list of people so that
if/when someone cancels, you might have someone interested? then I asked, "Rick?
Rick? Are you listening to me?" HE NEVER MADE EYE CONTACT AND DIDN'T ANSWER
ME. Can you believe that? Well, believe it because it happened... I also made
2 other points with them...they could announce it from the DJ microphone AND
they should let us know that it was a NON-Refundable charge.
FOURTH, NO ONE CAME UP TO US TO SAY HI !! We were sitting right near the
dance floor and near the aisle and so many people walked passed us without even
saying hi. NOTHING... I couldn't believe this was a Social Club...Can you
imagine being ignored all night?
FIFTH, for God sakes, don't take a glass container out of the kitchen!
We had a lady come by that informed us of this "rule". How about posting it on
the wall in the kitchen or something....We CAN'T read minds.
By the way, we went ahead and left around 1:30am or so because we didn't want to
spend the night or stick around.
I do not own a business. But, I've been in customer service for over 15 years.
Keys to good business are: REPEAT BUSINESS AND WORD OF MOUTH. Now that I have
typed this off, my blood pressure is boiling again. HOW CAN AN OWNER TREAT
PEOPLE LIKE THIS? Some ideas that went through my head on the trip back home
were:
1) Why didn't Rick give us our money back for the room and apoligize for not
informing us of the NON-refundable fee? Just as a one-time courtesy?
2) Since Rick knew we were members of Reel One AND we traveled from Indy, Why
didn't he acknowledge us while we were sitting & why didn't he say good-bye?
WORD OF MOUTH, my friends. Is he that stupid? Apparently, he is!
I paid $30 for an annual membership to a club that I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO
AGAIN !!! EVER!!
REEL ONE does NOT charge you to spend the night. People talk to you...you will
not be ignored. And Frank and Ann have been the nicest people to me. I went to
Ft. Wayne out of curiousity. And it's really not supposed to be like business's
competing with one another. But, DAMN. REPEAT BUSINESS AND WORD OF MOUTH. So,
here is my mouth telling you not to go there. It will be a waste of your money.
And I have the balls to say so. AND I have the experience that I just shared
with you to PROVE it.""
These types of stories are rare but I feel they are things that those in the lifestyle need to be informed of.

| WHAT THE HELL IS AN I-R PARTY |
Well thanks to a couple of swingers sites and some childish posting
I am going to tackle this subject and please everyone,,, I do not mean to offend anyone with this subject but after what I read over the past two weeks I feel that I need to write this. When people who regularly host
" I-R " parties start to say they don't like the term and when they try
to say others are using the term wrongly then it is time to step up
and try to open some eyes. Maybe a little bit of this will get through
but I doubt it and I think this is going to get nastier before it gets
better,
and that is sad not only for those involved but also the lifestyle and
clubs involved.
Recently a party was held in Indianapolis Indiana at a club which will remain nameless since I have not received permission from the
owner to use the club name on this story. The party was labeled as
an I-R party meaning inter-racial party, now remember this name
has been used for these parties for many years and most mixed
couples I know personally prefer to be refered to as inter-racial.
The name calling started with a club owner in Northern Indiana
saying that I-R party sounds racist and derogatory to him ,,,well what
is up with that???? in the same post he also stated that he never has
nor will he ever host or have a party called that in his club. Well that
was the start
of a thread that turned into nothing short of a war of words there
were
posts by people who have had many I-R parties condemning this
couple for holding one of their own in fact there was even a post
that plainly stated that the club that thought it was racist was said
to have held an I-R party and went on to promote an I-R party in
another city on the following weekend. I am not a man with an IQ
of 200 but I can plainly see that these two people did not want this
party to happen or be successful ( I did email the party host and he assured me the party was a HUGE success ) People this is what hurts
the lifestyle if you are worried that someone is going to take away from your party then make damn sure you have the best party going.This
couple tried to do everything right in regard to their party, they
held it at a club and held it on a night the club usually would have
been closed, and they made sure they were doing everything as the
club wanted. I guess my question is this and please feel free to

JUST WHAT SHOULD AN I-R PARTY BE CALLED. The two
couples that made the most noise about this party have as recently
as last night posted on this thread on the swinger site that their I-R
party
in northeastern Indiana was a huge success on Saturday night and t
hey exchanged at least 6 posts between these couples on someone
else's thread that is what I'm talking about people who can't stand it
when someone successful and always tries to promote theirself or
their parties using someone else's platform. Then it become a war of
words and in that fight folks NOBODY will win EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad I have control over this site because I'm sure these two
would have something to say and the couple who threw the Thursday
night party you are to be commended not once did you reply to these childish couples who were bashing you and your party not to mention promoting their own party. Even when these two keep adding messages
to the original post you still keep quite and that is the right thing to do
let those who are childish be the ones to look stupid .

This site Indiana-swingers has been around now for over 10 years and we try to stay up to date on many different fronts and report to you what we feel is valid information regarding the lifestyle in the State of Indiana. It was brought to our attention recently there are some who think we are shaded in our comments. On Saturday a post was posted on a message board on a swinging site that we are trying to scare people into attending swing clubs. The post goes on the accuse that whoever set up this site has done other things at parties to scare others including trying to get them in trouble with hotels that are hosting parties and passing out threatening flyers, they go on to say that we should be questioned and exposed for what and who we are. Well anyone who has any questions for this web site can e-mail us at webmaster@indiana-swingers.com we have answered many questions and we always try to be fair and give truthful answers when we are contacted.
As for who and what we are we are members of the lifestyle and have been for over 15 years now, we have seen many things over the course of those years and the one thing that always makes us chuckle is those who get on the web and shoot off their mouth and think they have all the answers.
The fact that we are reporting news about house parties seems to have some people stirred up and well even though no house parties have been shut down in Indiana ""YET"" it is happening all over the country,,, and if history tell us anything,,, it tells us that it is only a matter of time until it hits us here in Indiana. Especially with all the open postings being made on the web with addresses and guest lists ( remember what is posted on the web can be viewed by anyone both in the lifestyle and those who are not. Do we approve of house parties? Yes we do,, but when we say that we mean a small gathering at a home with friends and mutual acquaintances where there is no charge to attend. We don't approve of parties held in neighborhoods where there is a door fee and a guest list of over 100 people.
What people do not understand is the fact that once a party such as this is put on the news it affects everyone in the swinging lifestyle,,,, as the media loves to take a story like this and blow it up it a huge negative on the lifestyle. There is a saying that any publicity is good publicity,,, well when it comes to the lifestyle we disagree with that statement. This is a very discreet lifestyle and over the past few years people have gotten away from that,, to the point where parties are listed all over the net with addresses and such and way to much information there are usually guest lists posted and many times even pictures of guests posted for everyone on the web to see,,, all we are trying to convey on this site is be careful when attending parties, know your hosts and make sure you don't wind up on the evening news. Many people both couples and singles alike prefer a house party to a club that is your choice and we encourage you to attend functions where you are most comfortable. All we are asking is just take some time and choose wisely.

We live in South Central Indiana. We have belonged to several clubs that are now not around the first club that we joined was LaPlase in Indianapolis and we were members there until the owner passed away. After his passing we looked for another club that fit what we were looking for and finally found a club in Indianapolis called Reel-One which we joined and have been members since. While searching for a club to attend we ran across many clubs that were just not what we wanted, some were dirty some were just plain run down and some were so expensive that it wasn't funny. I decieded to start this site in order to maybe help someone find a club that fits their need without having to go through all the trial and error that we went through. We have met many friends in the lifestyle and we hope to meet many more in the coming years.
