| MY RANT PAGE SOMETIMES THE TRUTH HURTS |
I made this page because there are somethings that really piss me off but I don't want to put them on the main page and have anything negative for new visitors to see right off the bat. I'll put my feelings on this page on such things as meet n greets and hotels parties and anything else that I feel the need to throw a good rant out there for. If someone expressing their opinion on something offends you then this page may not be for you nobody is twisting your arm to read these comments.

This is a touchy subject to say the least. The reason I don't like these types of parties is simple they can be and usually are DANGEROUS to those attending. Dangerous you say is a pretty bad sounding word to use??? Well not really take into consideration these points, #1 these parties are held by people who have no worries about getting busted, paying for any overhead, in general they are out to make a fast dollar. If the party gets busted they are not the ones cited the bar owner is. This happened last year at a once a year very popular house party and guess what the homer owner paid the find and got the citation not the party organizer!!!!! If the guests get a citation they pay it not the party organizers. Folks these parties are held in PUBLIC BARS that have permits issued to them by the state of Indiana. The law in Indiana is CRYSTAL CLEAR IN REGARD TO NUDITY AND SEX it can't happen in public!! You pay to enter a public bar, you pay for all your drinks, and you pay for any food you want or snacks you want. The party organizer gets the door fee money to put in their pocket and in many cases also gets a kick back on all the drinks and food bought that night. The party organizers I'm willing to bet also DO NOT PAY TAXES ON THEIR EARNINGS FROM MEET N GREETS. I hope they don't have someone that has a beef with them and talks to the IRS. Why support someone who can't even provide you with a place to party should you hit it off with another couple. We have been to many of these in the past but we will not attend any of these types of parties now as all over the country you see headlines of them getting busted. | HOTEL PARTIES OR SO CALLED TAKE OVERS |
Those who follow this site can remember a couple months ago there was a big stink about the swingers party at the Clarion Waterfront that the hosts had put out specific door fee prices then changed that to call it a " donation" party only to have guests discover upon arrival that they had to pay a $30.00 door fee to get in. Well this group has changed the way they put out the invitation and this time the INVITATION CLEARLY SAYS couples are $30.00, single males are $40.00 and single females are $10.00 I want to ask again has the state of Indiana changed the laws on these types of parties or what. They also put on the invitation to put your drinks in a cup and nobody would ask what was in the cup, the reason for this is simple the hotel has a bar in it with a state issued permit and legally you CAN NOT BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE IN so once again a party organizer is trying to back door the state law and asks their guests to violate the law as well. Can you bring your own bottle into the party or is still a don't ask don't tell policy??? Maybe the City of Speedway has different laws and ordinances regarding these parties than Marion County does. Just wondering that's all. More to come on this check back often Many people are starting to host parties in smaller towns such as Speedway since they can't be bothered there. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ It is all about MONEY folks and making a fast dollar that they once again DO NOT HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON and once again should they get busted it is the party attendees and the hotel that is busted not the organizers they slip out the back door with a smile on their face and a pocket full of untaxed money. Once again you pay to enter a public site and the parties are held in the ballroom which is considered a public area so again NO SEX CAN LEGALLY TAKE PLACE and there can not be any NUDITY Now on top of all that you must get a room at the hotel which is going to cost you another $70.00 or $80.00 and again the party organizers will get a kick back cut from all rooms rented for the party. These parties seem to move around often and the reason is simple it doesn't taake long for the wrong people to find out about the parties and pass that info along. check this story out http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/dailyrft/2011/05/red_7_st_louis_swingers_police_raid.php or check this one out http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/news/news_wtnh_windsorlocks_swingers_party_hotel_200812181907_rev1 it does happen and it can happen here http://www2.counton2.com/news/2008/dec/11/connecticut_hotel_shut_down_for_hosting_swingers_c-ar-548726/

Yes I have a rant on house parties. I just don't see how some people can think they can operate a club in a residential neighborhood. Yes I understand it is their home and they can host a party if they want but there is a big difference between hosting a party and operating a club from their home. I see reports all the time where a neighbor gets pissed off and turns in someone for having parties at their homes, when people have these types of parties they are operating a club and sooner or later they will get busted. I want you to take a look at the video below and just stop and think how you would feel with TV cameras rolling and filming you being escorted out of a home or asking you questions on camera. It happens and when it happens it gives the lifestyle a bad name and it hurts the clubs who try to operate in a legal manner. It is a huge negative that is hard for clubs to overcome even clubs that have a good record with no problems get labeled as " that sex club " There are many house parties around and when a city starts a crackdown on them it is always big news.
